Alexia Planks
Foundations Director
Ms. Planks received her Bachelor's in Social Work from the University of Dallas and her Masters in Education Counseling from National University. She began her career at Williams High School in Plano, Texas serving as counselor and mentor to ninth and tenth grade students. Having served as a counselor in the educational envirnoment, where the main focus in developing a well-rounded student, Ms. Planks understands and supports the integral part that music plays in a child's life. It is with much excitement that she steps into the role as Foundations Director for the Strings of Color Orchestra while continuing to play the starring role of a loving mother to her two children. Ms. Planks also currently serves as Lead Implementations Specialist for Voyager Expanded Learning in Dallas, Texas.
