Lindsey Hernandez
Associate Conductor

Lindsey M. Hernandez was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She began studying the violin in the second grade and attended Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Ms. Hernandez has been a member of the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra, the Conservatory of Dallas, and was a member of the Young Strings Project through the Dallas Symphony where she studied with Sho-Mei Pellitier. While attending the University of North Texas, Ms. Hernandez taught with the String Project, headed by Karrell Johnson. After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Music Education in 2006, Ms. Hernandez began her teaching career with the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD. Currently, Lindsey is a part of the Plano ISD, directing Orchestras at both Williams High School and Bowman Middle School. When not teaching, she enjoys running and spending time with family and friends.
